Sweet Sweet Mothers Day

So now for my last trip back in time (hopefully for a while). Staring off with mothers day morning, my sweet hubby made me a breakfast smoothie as I gave him step by step instructions while feeding the kitten. It turned out great but sadly there is no pic :(. Then he and the little one ran to my parents to get my Mothers Day gift. Mmmmm the anticipation....I was super happy when he walked in with this...
He finally listened to the hints I have been dropping for about 2 years now :). How could you go wrong with this? Unless you have some sort of allergy to melons. Which luckily I don't have. I downed a few chocolate covered strawberries and a sample of everything else. My belly was happy!!

After getting ready for the day we headed out for a family stroll around block. I needed it since I skipped my Saturday workout. Oops...

Later in the day we headed over to my mom and dads for a little mothers day celebration and an early dinner. We grilled scallops, chicken kabobs with red and green peppers, chicken sausages, and steak. There was also some sliced tomatoes and sweet potatoes. Here's my plate...
This was just my first helping :). After dinner we stayed a bit longer and played a card game called Euchre. The man and I got an arse whoppin'!!

Here's my sweet niece and the little one being themselves...
I had a great, relaxing Mothers Day!!!

This morning I hit up the gym for a full body and then came home to this lovely bowl of Chocolate Covered Strawberry Oat Bran topped with with one of the last of strawberries from my Mothers Day gift...
Look at the yummy melty chocolate....
Cant remember my snack???? and its really irritating me!!!

Lunch was a simple salad, pan fried scallops with mushrooms, and a side of butternut squash...
Someone was being nosey so I let him in on the action...
I then did some house cleaning and tried to do a lot of blog catching up. My snack before the little ones karate was....
I also had a hand full of Peanut Butter Puffins walking out the door. Before I left I set out a previously frozen pizza dough to thaw for dinner. When we got home I obviously made pizza. The little one had her own personal pizza and ate every last bite...
Here's the big one...
The part with cheese has this sausage along with turkey peperoni. The part in the far back is for me tomorrow. It just has tomato sauce and this sausage. My belly has been hurting so I just had a smoothie for dinner with some almond milk, strawberries, and homemade almond butter from my sweet Heather. I know it wasn't enough for dinner but I really don't have much of an appetite. I am going to try and down something before bed. Good night everyone, I hope you had a fabulous Monday!!! I will be up bright and early (5:05 am) tomorrow for a new class at the Y.

CONFESSION OF THE DAY: I got married 5 months after dating my hubby. What can I say....when you know, you know!!

Now I'm drooling over your chocolate oats, with that chocolate dipped strawberry. So delicious looking!

I hope your belly felt better... that pizza looks so good.

And RE your confession - Wow! 5 months! Was it love at first sight? You'll have to tell us how you met one day! I hope I'm lucky enough to feel like that about someone one day soon.
