????Mystery Meal????

Day two of detox went alright. I was much hungrier yesterday than I was the first day. Especially in the afternoon. Lunch was some what of an odd combo...
Anyone who can guess the ingredients or the most ingredients in this I will send a prize. Maybe some pb or something if your lucky and I can afford it. Sorry HEABS your out. You already know. I will give you another look...
I also had a salad which I ate first by the way, just in case you were wondering...

  • romaine
  • spinach
  • zucchini
  • red pepper
  • cucumber
  • mushrooms
  • carrots
  • tomatoes
  • corn
  • balsamic
  • Annie's lite ginger dressing
Lunch dessert...
I only had that 1 square.

Somewhere in between all this my oldest niece who got her license that morning came by to show off..
$20 to anyone who can guess what show is on the tv in the back. Ok I wont give you any money but that would be pretty impressive :)

A couple of weeks ago I was contacted by NuNaturals to test out their products and I was elated when my doorbell rang and I found these goodies in the box...

The nice people of NuNaturals sent me tons of good stuff plus a plethora of info and even some recipes...

Afternoon snack...

It ended up being a carrot and raisin sandwich...
I think I got a little carried away because I am not used to eating raisins because of the sugar count. Lets just say the little raisins ended up floating in the big jar of almond butter and they needed a big spoon to come and rescue them :). Ugh, felt a little bloated afterward :(.

Dinner was a veggie stir-fry. Apparently cooked veggies are embraced by some raw foodists. Who knew...

  • red pepper
  • zucchini
  • onion
  • yellow squash
  • garlic cloves chopped
  • mushrooms
  • soy sauce
  • balsamic vinegar
  • carrot
  • chicken
  • served over spinach
Went back for more dark chocolate later. Sometime later I also made my version of "frozen
chocolate milk"....
I tasted it and it didn't quite have that sweet chocolaty taste I was looking for so I added a few drops of Now Dark Chocolate Stevia and that made it perfect!! I also had about a 1/3 of a piece of raw corn.

Kicked it with "Gym" this morning and did lots of lifting and thrusting followed by some heavy breathing and lots of sweat. Shhh, Don't tell my husband.

Now I have almost polished off this ginormous bowl...
Singing off, I am about to pee on myself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

CONFESSION OF THE DAY: I am totally fixing to cheat on my hairstylist of about 8 years. I feel like shes to comfortable with me and is to "safe" with me. Like when I tell her to do something she doesn't "all the way" do it because maybe she is scared I wont like it or I'll be mad at her. Does that make sense? I need someone new who will take more risks!! haha

  1. The TV show kinda looks like Guy Fieri, but it doesn't look like his kitchen.

Mystery meal...how about spinach, cucumber, and ... (besides the corn)...zucchini?

  4. Oooh! I'm so curious to see how this turns out! I love the idea of totally detoxing and cleansing your body but I don't know if I could ever give up my chocolate! :)

  6. I am TOTALLY lost on the mystery meal!! I'm definitely interested in finding out :)

I need to detox, too... my meals have been beyond bad. I haven't had meals/tons of desserts like this in.. oh YEARS. What's up with me? I have a wedding in less than a month! I can't lose all my weight in that time but would like to get a few off before then! Geez Mandy!

Oh hey - you asked about my salon - it's called Suite One... it's in Nashville. I've been going to my girl for about three years now and I love her! She's always open to new things and ideas... her name is glory. If you want the number, let me know!

  8. OK, do I can't guess the lunch, but the TV show...not sure, but definitely looks like something from the Food Network.

Lovely day of eats Justine. I especially liked your afternoon snack. :) Raisin, almond butter, carrot, celery sammie? Brilliant. You're quite creative with the food combining thing.

I haven't tried the cocoa bean extract yet. Well, maybe I tried it in my coffee. Can't remember. You like NOW better? Love the NOW myself. Will have to compare when I get home.

That bowl of watermelon looks amazing...and I say cheat my friend. After 8 years, it sounds like it's time to find someone new. Get a little crazy...maybe some pink? I hear it's the latest trend. ;)

  9. avocado? spinach? asparagus? frog? hehe...

Frozen chocolate milk sounds pretty good!

Congrats to your niece- no idea what that show is! I would guess it's something not shown in the UK though!

    Have a great weekend :)

  10. Oh, I forgot to say on your other post that I totally look in people's carts, too. I try to act like I'm not looking, but I don't think I get away with. It's a lot easier if you look at the people putting stuff on the checkout counter behind you ;)

That bowl of watermelon is bigger than you! Not that that is saying much ;) You are tiny!

  11. Spinach! Avocado! Those are both fab guesses. Oat groats? Corn... that's definitely corn on top there. ;)

  12. MMM frozen chocolate milk :) Yuummm

That bowl of watermelon also looks so yummy. I never buy one though because they take up so much space and I really don't have any room the fridge right now. Living with 3 other people who fill it up with 6 packs isn't exactly space friendly lol.

Celery sticks + PB + raisins = one of my fave childhood snacks. I gotta get me some celery :D I would also put marshmallows on mine. And the raisins were suppose to be ants hehe

p.s. Lol usually it's the hairdresser that's out of control risky.
