Wednesdays are always busy for me in the mornings. I started out at the gym at 6. Before I left I had half an orange that looked lonely in the fridge. At the gym I had a great upper body workout mixed with a little
cardio. When I got home around 7 I made a quick protein shake and had half a apple cinnamon rice cake spread with macadamia nut honey (my parents brought it back for me from Hawaii a few weeks ago). Then it was off to shower and get me and the little one ready for her gymnastics at 9. Lets just say gymnastics was less than fun today. The little one was having a hard time following directions and was not allowed to play in the balls with the other kids at the end of class. :( When we got home I cooked myself up 6 egg whites with broccoli, onion, fat free feta and a 1/2 cup oats.
The rest of the day was a lot of running around! I did manage to come home for lunch. It was terribly windy and stormy here yesterday. I think gusts were up 60mph. Anyway, while I was sitting at the kitchen table enjoying my lunch I heard a huge whistling gust and I looked up to see the little ones trampoline pick up from the ground, hit the house and knock some gutters off, then proceed to fly across the yard upside down before luckily getting stuck in the neighbors tree. If it wouldn't have got stuck there who knows what other damage it would have done! I did manage to cook of these pretty roasted veggies while at home.
I did a lot of lamp shopping yesterday. I never realized how expensive a decent one can be! I did purchase one but I brought it home and wondered what I was
smokin' when I got it. Its definitely going back to the store! There was one at Rooms To Go that I liked a lot but I needed time to ponder it because there is no returning this one.
The husband had a late appointment so me and the little one were on our own for dinner. I whipped up a plate of leftovers for me. Which consisted of
pineapple swiss chard, roasted veggies and grilled chicken. The little one got these
marvelous ww french toast with strawberries and whipped cream. Lucky her. I made extra for her to have for breakfast but when the husband got home he ate all 6! Later on before bed I made a peanut butter shake. MMMmmmm!!!
CONFESSION OF THE DAY: My husband and I are reality TV junkies. The skankier (did I spell that right?) the better. Haha. We love Rock Of Love Bus, I love Money, Bad Girls Club, All the Real Housewives on Bravo, Wife Swap, Real World, American Idol, Biggest Loser, Hells Kitchen, From Gs to Gents...need I say more and these are only the shows that are in season....
